Acctivate
by Acctivate
A Windows desktop inventory and order system that sits beside QuickBooks, with standard, custom and process assemblies, lot and serial trace, expiry dates and min/max restock suggestions that net open orders. QuickBooks stays the ledger.
Why it is classified this way
We call this a Light manufacturing product. Has bills of materials or recipes, consumes stock when you build, and tracks production, but time-phased planning is not verified.
It is not labeled Full MRP because we have not verified that it accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule; explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials; uses lead times or required dates; and produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. That is a statement about the evidence we found, not a claim that the product is weak, see the capability table and the sources below.
The six Full MRP tests, and how Acctivate does on each (2 of 6)
- YesIt represents a bill of materials, recipe, or formula.Evidence: hub.acctivate.com › Bill of materials options for manufacturing(opens in a new tab); hub.acctivate.com › Create and build a standard assembly product(opens in a new tab); hub.acctivate.com › Build custom or process assembly products(opens in a new tab)
- PartialIt accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
- YesIt nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming.Evidence: docs.acctivate.com › InventoryManager(opens in a new tab)
- PartialIt explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.Components of unposted assembly sessions are subtracted from each component's availability ("Total component quantity from unposted inventory assemblies (WIP)"), so a build you have created drives component restocks. There is no planning run that explodes suggested builds; the docs advise creating assembly sessions before reorders for that reason. docs.acctivate.com › InventoryManager(opens in a new tab); docs.acctivate.com › CreateReorders(opens in a new tab)
- PartialIt uses lead times or required dates. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
- PartialIt produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
These rules are applied identically to every product and enforced at build time, a record cannot be published as Full MRP unless all six pass with a source attached. Read the methodology.
Best for
- QuickBooks users who assemble for stock and need lot trace through their assemblies
- Food, beverage and medical producers who want yield and variance recorded on process builds
- Businesses that want inventory on their own Windows server with SQL Server behind it
Not a fit when
- Anyone leaving QuickBooks: Acctivate needs an active QuickBooks subscription and does not keep its own ledger
- Buyers who need dated purchase or production plans; restock suggestions are min/max quantities
- Teams that want a browser-based cloud product; it is a Windows desktop application
Pricing facts
What it costs to do manufacturing in this product.
No published price
This vendor does not publish pricing, so you cannot compare it against anything here without contacting them. We will not estimate a figure.
What moves the real bill
- No published price. You have to contact the vendor, which usually means a sales call.
Pricing detail
No price recorded. The vendor's pricing page (acctivate.com/pricing) sits behind a Cloudflare bot check that did not clear in an ordinary browser on 2026-09-19, so it could not be read, and we do not work around those checks. A marketplace search summary mentioned a one-time package price; that has not been checked against the vendor. Kits, assortments, and custom and process assemblies are add-on modules ("Please contact the Acctivate Sales Team for more information"), and an active QuickBooks subscription is required on top.
Checked on September 19, 2026. No first-party pricing page recorded. Prices change. Check before you buy.

Planning
Working out what to buy or make, and when.
| Capability | Finding | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| Accepts dated demandYou can tell it what is due and when, sales orders with dates, a forecast, or a production schedule. | Partial | Sales-order demand is counted as quantities: the restock formula subtracts the "Total scheduled and backordered quantity from customer sales orders". The formula does not use required dates.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: docs.acctivate.com › InventoryManager(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Nets against stock on handIt subtracts what you already have before telling you to buy more. | Yes | Available is on hand less sales-order demand, WIP components, outbound transfers, vendor returns and reserved stock; "Suggested Restock Quantity = Maximum Stocking Quantity – Net Available".Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: docs.acctivate.com › InventoryManager(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Counts incoming ordersIt knows about purchase orders and production orders already placed, so it does not tell you to order twice. | Yes | Net Available adds "Total outstanding quantity (not received yet) from issued vendor purchase orders" and "Unposted assembly quantity".Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: docs.acctivate.com › InventoryManager(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Uses lead timesIt works backwards from when you need something to when you must order or start it, using supplier and production lead times. | Partial | Vendor lead time is stored, but it is used only to recommend a minimum stocking level: "The Lead Time in days, which is used to generate a minimum stocking level on the Insights tab." It does not move a date.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: docs.acctivate.com › Products(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Produces dated buy/make suggestionsThe output is an actionable list with dates, order this much by this date, start this batch on this date. | Partial | Restock suggestions are quantities against min/max levels, turned into purchase orders or assembly sessions from the Inventory Manager. No order-by date is documented.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: docs.acctivate.com › InventoryManager(opens in a new tab); docs.acctivate.com › CreateReorders(opens in a new tab)Question this |

Each level is built in its own assembly session.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: docs.acctivate.com › Products(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Recipes & formulasBatch-style production by weight, volume, or percentage, including scaling a batch up or down. | Partial | Process Assemblies (an add-on) "allow you to manage a variable bill of materials" and "track the original Production Quantity, the actual Yield Quantity and the Variance". Editorial notes and cautions
Things we would want a friend to know before buying.
- Custom and process assemblies, kits and assortments are add-on modules with no public price, and the pricing page could not be read for this record.
- Restock suggestions ignore dates and lead times. Lead time only feeds a suggested minimum stock level.
Evidence and verification
Why this record is not Verified. Held at partially verified until the price structure can be read.
Researched 2026-09-19 from the knowledge base (hub.acctivate.com) and documentation site (docs.acctivate.com), read in full. The main site, including the pricing page, is behind a Cloudflare bot check that did not clear, so price, editions and the add-on list are unconfirmed. Held at partially verified until the price structure can be read.

What we still want to confirm
We publish our gaps rather than hiding them. If you can point us at a first-party page for any of these, we will update the record and credit the correction.
- Read the pricing page (acctivate.com/pricing) when it is reachable, and record the license or subscription price and the add-on module prices.
- Find out whether Acctivate offers vendor hosting or only third-party hosting partners.
- Check the Mobile WMS assembly workflow for shop-floor reporting.
- Check whether reports or lists export to CSV.
Still unknown: capacity planning, routings & operations, shop-floor tracking, quality controls, webhooks, mcp support, csv export.
