Prediko
by Prediko
Demand forecasting and purchasing for Shopify brands, with a paid Raw Materials add-on that adds bills of materials, production orders and raw-material buying suggestions with a best order date.
Why it is classified this way
We call this a Planning / APS product. A forecasting, constraint-planning, or scheduling engine that normally sits on top of another system that holds your transactions.
This product meets our Full MRP tests, but we classify it by its center of gravity rather than its planning engine alone. The capability table below shows the detail.
The six Full MRP tests, and how Prediko does on each (6 of 6)
- YesIt represents a bill of materials, recipe, or formula.Evidence: help.prediko.io › How many raw materials should i order(opens in a new tab); prediko.io › Raw materials management(opens in a new tab)
- YesIt accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule.Evidence: help.prediko.io › Supply plan metrics how the supply plan works(opens in a new tab)
- YesIt nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming.Evidence: help.prediko.io › How many raw materials should i order(opens in a new tab); help.prediko.io › How are the buying recommendations calculated(opens in a new tab); help.prediko.io › Supply plan metrics how the supply plan works(opens in a new tab); help.prediko.io › Production orders create a po for missing raw materials i…(opens in a new tab)
- YesIt explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials.Evidence: help.prediko.io › How many raw materials should i order(opens in a new tab)The raw-material recommendation explodes finished-goods demand through the BOM: "Analyze BOM: Identify all the finished goods that require the raw material" and "Calculate Demand: Sum the required raw materials during the stock cover period", with a worked example (FG1 needs 500, FG2 needs 250, so order 750). Scope: one level, raw materials under finished goods, on the Raw Materials add-on.
- YesIt uses lead times or required dates.Evidence: help.prediko.io › How many raw materials should i order(opens in a new tab); help.prediko.io › How are the buying recommendations calculated(opens in a new tab)
- YesIt produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations.Evidence: help.prediko.io › How many raw materials should i order(opens in a new tab)
These rules are applied identically to every product and enforced at build time, a record cannot be published as Full MRP unless all six pass with a source attached. Read the methodology.
Best for
- Shopify brands that make some of their own products and want raw-material buying driven by the sales forecast
- Teams that plan purchasing in months and want a best order date per material
- Growing stores that want unlimited users and SKUs without per-seat pricing
Not a fit when
- Anyone not selling on Shopify: the app is built on Shopify and billed through it
- Shops that need routings, capacity scheduling, lots or quality checks, none of which we found documented
- Larger brands on a tight budget: the price climbs with GMV, to $999 a month from $10M

Both rise with GMV: $119 + $49 from $100K, $199 + $79 from $500K, $349 + $119 from $2M, and so on to $3,999 + $1,349 below $50M, then contact sales.

Editorial notes and cautions
Things we would want a friend to know before buying.
- The planning evidence is for the Raw Materials add-on. Without it, Prediko plans finished goods only and has no bills of materials or production orders.
- Price is set by GMV, not users. Check which band your store falls in before comparing: the add-on alone is $169 a month in the $5M to $10M band.
- Prediko is a planning layer over Shopify, so the store stays the system that holds orders and stock.
Evidence and verification
Researched 2026-09-19 from the pricing page (its price table was read from the page's own script), the help center and the public API reference. The planning tests rest on the help center's raw-materials and supply-plan articles, which describe the calculation step by step.

What we still want to confirm
We publish our gaps rather than hiding them. If you can point us at a first-party page for any of these, we will update the record and credit the correction.
- Check whether raw-material recommendations count open raw-material POs (the Supply Plan article says confirmed POs count; the raw-materials article only mentions stock).
- Document lot, batch and expiry handling, if any.
- Find out what the Xero and QuickBooks integrations sync.
- Check for webhooks and a full data export.
Still unknown: capacity planning, recipes & formulas, routings & operations, shop-floor tracking, quality controls, batch & lot traceability, expiry & shelf life, serial numbers, webhooks, mcp support, full data export.
