Ridder iQ

by ECI Software Solutions (Ridder)

Manufacturing ERPProprietary SaaSPartially verified

Dutch-built ERP for small and mid-sized make-to-order and engineer-to-order manufacturers, now sold by ECI in the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK. Covers costing, multi-level BOMs, work preparation, purchasing, stock, production planning and job costing, with traceability and advanced planning as extra modules.

Why it is classified this way

We call this a Manufacturing ERP product. A broad business system (accounting, sales, purchasing) with a substantial manufacturing or planning module attached.

It is not labeled Full MRP because we have not verified that it accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule; nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming; explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials; uses lead times or required dates; and produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. That is a statement about the evidence we found, not a claim that the product is weak, see the capability table and the sources below.

The six Full MRP tests, and how Ridder iQ does on each (1 of 6)
  1. YesIt represents a bill of materials, recipe, or formula.Evidence: ecisolutions.com › Ridder iq(opens in a new tab)
  2. PartialIt accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
  3. PartialIt nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
  4. UnknownIt explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials. Not established. No evidence found yet.

  6. PartialIt produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.

These rules are applied identically to every product and enforced at build time, a record cannot be published as Full MRP unless all six pass with a source attached. Read the methodology.

Best for

  • Small Dutch, Belgian and UK engineering and make-to-order shops that quote, calculate and build to customer order
  • Shops that want pre- and post-calculation on every order in the same system as purchasing and planning

Not a fit when

  • Buyers who want a published price or to try it without a sales conversation
  • Batch or recipe manufacturers: nothing on the vendor pages covers formulas or expiry

Pricing facts

What it costs to do manufacturing in this product.

No published price

This vendor does not publish pricing, so you cannot compare it against anything here without contacting them. We will not estimate a figure.

What moves the real bill

  • Onboarding fee. Implementation is quoted per project: process analysis, configuration, training and go-live, plus data migration and integrations as separate items.
  • No published price. You have to contact the vendor, which usually means a sales call.

Pricing detail

No price is published. The Dutch pricing page says the price "is afhankelijk van meerdere factoren zoals je bedrijfsomvang, gewenste functionaliteiten en de implementatiemethode" (depends on company size, the functions you need and the implementation method) and asks you to fill in a form. It describes a cloud subscription where "Je betaalt per gebruiker en alleen voor de modules die je nodig hebt" (you pay per user and only for the modules you need), a monthly fee for updates, support and maintenance, and implementation, data migration and integrations as separate costs. Traceability and advanced production planning are extra modules.

Editorial notes and cautions

Things we would want a friend to know before buying.

  • Every claim here rests on ECI's product pages in English and Dutch; there is no public manual. The pages mention "online documentation" for customers, but none is public.
  • Planning is described in general terms (shortages signalled, orders generated, delivery times watched). Whether it nets open purchase orders or dates its suggestions is not stated anywhere public.
  • Traceability and advanced production planning are separate paid modules, so check they are in the quote.

Evidence and verification

Partially verifiedLast checked October 9, 2026 · 60% of capability fields resolved · 100% of those carry a source

Why this record is not Verified. Held at partially verified because the evidence is marketing pages only, even though coverage would clear the Verified threshold.

Researched 2026-09-19 from ECI's English and Dutch Ridder iQ pages (product, functionality, add-on modules, Essentials edition and the pricing page), read in full. Held at partially verified because the evidence is marketing pages only, even though coverage would clear the Verified threshold. Prices are quote-only; the currency is set to euros for the Dutch home market.

What we still want to confirm

We publish our gaps rather than hiding them. If you can point us at a first-party page for any of these, we will update the record and credit the correction.

  • Find documentation of how purchase suggestions are calculated: whether open purchase orders count and whether suggestions carry dates.
  • Get an indicative per-user price and which modules the base subscription includes.
  • Confirm whether finance administration is a full general ledger, and which accounting packages it connects to.
  • Confirm serial number handling and an API.

Still unknown: counts incoming orders, uses lead times, recipes & formulas, expiry & shelf life, serial numbers, api, webhooks, mcp support, csv export, full data export.
