Sutton
Formerly Digit. If you were searching for that name, this is the same product.
by Sutton (formerly Digit)
Cloud manufacturing ERP for growing manufacturers and distributors, formerly called Digit: manufacturing orders with routings and shop-floor work orders, lots and serials, purchasing, and QuickBooks and ecommerce integrations, with API, MCP and webhooks as paid add-ons.
Why it is classified this way
We call this a Light manufacturing product. Has bills of materials or recipes, consumes stock when you build, and tracks production, but time-phased planning is not verified.
It is not labeled Full MRP because we have not verified that it accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule; nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming; explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials; uses lead times or required dates; and produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. That is a statement about the evidence we found, not a claim that the product is weak, see the capability table and the sources below.

| Accepts dated demandYou can tell it what is due and when, sales orders with dates, a forecast, or a production schedule. | Partial | A manufacturing order can be started from a sales order: the work-orders article says "you can click on the make button within that order to bring up to create manufacturing order screen". Planning and forecasting are on the Growth plan, but no help article describes how demand feeds them, and no public page describes what a sales order holds beyond its customer PO number.Reviewed October 9, 2026. | Nets against stock on handIt subtracts what you already have before telling you to buy more. | Partial | A manufacturing order shows "all of the components that are needed to complete this manufacturing order, along with how which ones are available and where they are located". No requirements calculation across orders is documented.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: learn.heysutton.com › Manufacturing work orders key features(opens in a new tab)Question this |

| Capacity planningChecks whether your people and machines can do the work in the time available. | Unknown | Not yet researched. We would need: documentation of work-center or resource capacity being compared against load.Know the answer? |

Editorial notes and cautions
Things we would want a friend to know before buying.
- Digit renamed itself Sutton in 2026. The help center and API still use the Digit name and domain in places.
- Lot tracking, traceability and planning start at Growth ($750 a month), and job costing at Professional ($1,300).
Evidence and verification
Researched 2026-09-19. The old Digit feature page now announces "Digit is now Sutton. Same ERP, plus custom apps in minutes." Pricing read verbatim from heysutton.com/pricing (plan cards; the feature grid's column layout could not be read reliably, so tiers come from the cards' own wording). Capabilities come from the help center at learn.heysutton.com, including vendor video transcripts, plus the pricing page.

What we still want to confirm
We publish our gaps rather than hiding them. If you can point us at a first-party page for any of these, we will update the record and credit the correction.
- Find how Growth's planning and forecasting works: whether it nets demand against stock and open POs and gives dated suggestions.
- Confirm which plan includes quality checks and serialized inventory.
- Confirm expiry tracking and the export format.
- Record the quarterly and annual prices if the toggle shows them.
Still unknown: counts incoming orders, uses lead times, produces dated buy/make suggestions, capacity planning, expiry & shelf life.
