BrewMan
by Premier Systems
UK-built brewery and distillery software, now sold in the US at a published per-seat price. Multi-stage recipes, vessel scheduling, QC gates, batch-tracked materials, a stock requirements screen that nets planned batches against stock and open purchase orders, US brewer's TTB report, Shopify and accounting connections.
Why it is classified this way
We call this a Batch / process manufacturing product. Built around recipes or formulas, batch runs, and lot genealogy. May or may not include full time-phased planning.
It is not labeled Full MRP because we have not verified that it accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule; uses lead times or required dates; and produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. That is a statement about the evidence we found, not a claim that the product is weak, see the capability table and the sources below.
The six Full MRP tests, and how BrewMan does on each (3 of 6)
- YesIt represents a bill of materials, recipe, or formula.Evidence: premier-systems-ltd.featureos.help › Batch production how to batch template and recipe creation(opens in a new tab); premier-systems-ltd.featureos.help › Batch production how to add and use ingredients(opens in a new tab)
- PartialIt accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
- YesIt nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming.Evidence: premier-systems-ltd.featureos.help › How to stock requirements(opens in a new tab)
- YesIt explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials.Evidence: premier-systems-ltd.featureos.help › How to stock requirements(opens in a new tab)Stock Requirements lists "All the Products/Materials needed to fulfil your processes, grouped by Supplier" for planned and in-progress batches in a chosen date range.
- PartialIt uses lead times or required dates. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
- PartialIt produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
These rules are applied identically to every product and enforced at build time, a record cannot be published as Full MRP unless all six pass with a source attached. Read the methodology.
Best for
- Breweries that want a stock requirements screen netting planned batches against stock and open purchase orders
- Small teams where only one or two people are signed in at a time, since seats are concurrent
- Producers who self-distribute and want route planning and container tracking in the same system
Not a fit when
- Buyers who want documented batch costing and cost of goods sold: the pages we read only mention estimating recipe cost before production
- US distilleries that need TTB spirits reports: the US TTB guide covers the brewer's report only

| Accepts dated demandYou can tell it what is due and when, sales orders with dates, a forecast, or a production schedule. | Partial | Stock Requirements works from the production plan: "By default, the list will show all your Planned and In Progress Processes." Sales orders and forecasts are not shown feeding it.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: premier-systems-ltd.featureos.help › How to stock requirements(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Nets against stock on handIt subtracts what you already have before telling you to buy more. | Yes | "If there is insufficient items In Stock and On Order combined, the Shortfall will highlight how much more is required."Reviewed October 9, 2026. | Uses lead timesIt works backwards from when you need something to when you must order or start it, using supplier and production lead times. | Partial | "The Lead Time is taken from the Purchasing Details of the Material/Product. This will highlight the estimated arrival time." It is shown next to the need date; the screen does not say it moves the order date back by it.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Editorial notes and cautions
Things we would want a friend to know before buying.
- Priced per concurrent user: a crew that logs in at the same time on brew day pays $90 for every seat in use.
- TTB scope: the US help guide covers the Brewer's Report of Operations; the distillery page describes UK-style duty calculation, and we found no guide to the TTB distilled spirits plant reports.
- Premier Systems is a UK company. Training, hardware and labels are priced in pounds, and US support hours are not stated.
Alternatives to BrewMan
An alternative is always an alternative for a reason. There is no universal replacement.
Breww charges by annual volume with unlimited users, which costs less for a busy small team, and it documents an ingredient-lot trace report through to customers.
Ekos is a US-headquartered craft beverage system with TTB reporting for beer, wine and spirits, sold by quote rather than per seat.
Evidence and verification
Why this record is not Verified. Held at partially verified on purpose: costing is described only as a recipe estimate, the trial length and US support terms are not stated, and the US TTB guide covers beer only.
Researched 2026-10-09 from the US landing page, pricing page, feature and distillery pages, and the public help center (articles read in their Markdown form).

What we still want to confirm
We publish our gaps rather than hiding them. If you can point us at a first-party page for any of these, we will update the record and credit the correction.
- Confirm whether Stock Requirements can take sales orders or forecasts as demand, and whether lead times move the order date.
- Find documentation of batch costing and cost of goods sold.
- Confirm the free trial length and any API or webhooks.
- Confirm which US TTB spirits reports, if any, the distillery setup produces.
Still unknown: api, webhooks, mcp support, full data export.
