ERPAG

by ERPAG

Manufacturing ERPProprietary SaaS✓ Verified

A broad small-business ERP covering manufacturing, inventory, purchasing and sales, with multi-level bills of materials, serial and lot tracking with expiry dates, and five users included in the entry price.

Why it is classified this way

We call this a Manufacturing ERP product. A broad business system (accounting, sales, purchasing) with a substantial manufacturing or planning module attached.

It is not labeled Full MRP because we have not verified that it nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming; explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials; uses lead times or required dates; and produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. That is a statement about the evidence we found, not a claim that the product is weak, see the capability table and the sources below.

The six Full MRP tests, and how ERPAG does on each (2 of 6)
  1. YesIt represents a bill of materials, recipe, or formula.Evidence: erpag.com(opens in a new tab)
  2. YesIt accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule.Evidence: changelog.erpag.com › Erpag changelog 31122020(opens in a new tab)
  3. PartialIt nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming. Not established. Backed only by a limited source (a vendor video from before 2023, source code, an old blog post or a single marketing line), which can fill the table but cannot pass this test.
  4. UnknownIt explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials. Not established. No evidence found yet.
  5. PartialIt uses lead times or required dates. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
  6. PartialIt produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.

These rules are applied identically to every product and enforced at build time, a record cannot be published as Full MRP unless all six pass with a source attached. Read the methodology.

Best for

  • Small manufacturers who need five seats and a broad feature set on a tight budget
  • Shops needing lot, batch, serial and expiry tracking without an upgrade path to reach them
  • Businesses running QuickBooks or Xero who want two-way document sync

Not a fit when

  • Anyone needing verified time-phased planning
  • Shops wanting a documented planning calculation before committing. The manual shows the screens but not how the fulfillment engine works out its suggestions
  • Teams that need the API on a budget, since only the $199 Advanced tier includes it

Pricing detail

Three tiers, each including five users, with "$9/mo each additional user" beyond the five. Every tier starts at a $49 "special discount" for the first three months. After that the page says Basic is $99/mo, Professional $99/mo and Advanced $199/mo. Database storage is capped at 10 GB. Manufacturing management is ticked on all three tiers. The tiers differ by more than users and storage: Basic leaves out live support, customization, the customer portal, automation and the API, and Professional leaves out the customer portal, automation and the API. Only Advanced includes the API.

CapabilityFindingWhat we found
Accepts dated demandYou can tell it what is due and when, sales orders with dates, a forecast, or a production schedule.YesSales orders carry a deadline, per the changelog: "Edit Sales Order deadline via bulk action" The manual does not say whether the fulfillment engine uses that deadline.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Nets against stock on handIt subtracts what you already have before telling you to buy more.YesThe homepage says the fulfillment engine will "Order missing items based on demand and inventory rules". In a vendor sales demo (2020 video), "the system does an automatic comparisons of stock and it will compare what you do have in stock with the demand from the customer", on sales orders and again when a work order is launched, and missing items go to the purchasing fulfillment list. The demo does not show whether stock already on purchase orders is subtracted.Source: erpag.com(opens in a new tab); Vendor video, 2020, at 14:43(opens in a new tab)Question this
Counts incoming ordersIt knows about purchase orders and production orders already placed, so it does not tell you to order twice.YesFrom a 2018 vendor blog post: "Since "committed" is not greater than "awaiting" the fulfillment will be empty, i.e. there will not be an unnecessary ordering of goods." Open purchase-order quantity ("awaiting") is netted before the fulfillment list suggests more. A 2018 blog post, so it fills the table but does not count toward the Full MRP label.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: Vendor blog, 2018(opens in a new tab)Question this
Uses lead timesIt works backwards from when you need something to when you must order or start it, using supplier and production lead times.PartialA product-level shipping days field moves a purchase order's expected date. The manual lists: "Expected date (this date moves forward if you populate the ‘shipping days’ field in the product)" We found nothing showing lead time moving a suggested order date or a work order start date.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: learn.erpag.com › Open purchase orders(opens in a new tab)Question this
Produces dated buy/make suggestionsThe output is an actionable list with dates, order this much by this date, start this batch on this date.PartialAn "automatic fulfillment engine" orders missing items from demand and inventory rules, but the fulfillment list is an undated snapshot of what to order. The vendor blog says "Each document that is created through "fulfillment" has a date "expected" which is calculated depending on the "shipping days" from the item definition." That is a forward arrival date, not an order-by date worked back from need. A 2018 vendor blog post adds that dates run forward from today plus the item's shipping days; the sales-order deadline is not used to work back.Reviewed October 9, 2026. APIA documented programming interface so other software can read and write your data.PartialThe API reference says "API features are only available to certain ERPAG plan packages", and the pricing page strikes "API (Smart API)" through on Basic and Professional, so only Advanced at $199 a month includes it. That tier split is read from the pricing page's row styling. In a 2025 vendor demo, an API user is set up with a key and secret and API scripts you write inside ERPAG return JSON to GET requests; the endpoints are scripts you build yourself rather than a fixed, published API reference.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Editorial notes and cautions

Things we would want a friend to know before buying.

  • Five users at $99 a month after a three-month $49 discount is still a strong entry offer. Weigh it against MRPeasy, where five users on the Starter tier cost $245.
  • The $49 Basic rate is a discount for the first three months only; the pricing page says Basic then costs $99 a month, the same as Professional. Budget on $99.
  • Feature claims are broad, and the manual at learn.erpag.com shows the screens but not how the fulfillment engine calculates. Use the fifteen-day trial to check the ones you depend on.

Alternatives to ERPAG

An alternative is always an alternative for a reason. There is no universal replacement.

  • MRPeasyStronger true MRP

ERPAG bundles five seats into $99 a month after a three-month $49 discount, where MRPeasy charges $49 per seat, but MRPeasy documents its planning calculation and ERPAG does not.

  • Compared on Kladana's page, where we wrote: "ERPAG connects to QuickBooks and Xero itself and includes manufacturing in its plans, rather than through a paid connector and a separate module."

Evidence and verification

✓ VerifiedLast checked October 9, 2026 · 84% of capability fields resolved · 100% of those carry a source

Capability evidence comes from the vendor's main site, the ERPAG manual at learn.erpag.com, the product changelog and the vendor blog; the tier ladder and per-seat cost from the pricing page. The pricing page ticks "Manufacturing management" on all three tiers. Its excluded features are struck through in the page styling, which is how the API was placed on Advanced only. The page is internally inconsistent on Basic, reading $49 then $99 a month while Professional is $99 a month.

What we still want to confirm

We publish our gaps rather than hiding them. If you can point us at a first-party page for any of these, we will update the record and credit the correction.

  • Confirm capacity planning and cost of goods sold reporting. Neither is mentioned in the manual, the manufacturing page, the pricing feature matrix or the changelog, so confirming either needs a trial.

Still unknown: capacity planning, recipes & formulas, webhooks, mcp support.
