Kladana

by Kladana Pvt. Ltd.

Light manufacturingProprietary SaaSPartially verified

A low-cost cloud inventory, sales and production system from Mumbai: multi-level BOMs with routings and labor costs, production orders that write off materials as operations complete, a shop-floor app, batches with expiry, and supply suggestions from sales orders. Manufacturing is a $43-a-month add-on on paid plans from $24 a month.

Why it is classified this way

We call this a Light manufacturing product. Has bills of materials or recipes, consumes stock when you build, and tracks production, but time-phased planning is not verified.

It is not labeled Full MRP because we have not verified that it accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule; explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials; uses lead times or required dates; and produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. That is a statement about the evidence we found, not a claim that the product is weak, see the capability table and the sources below.

The six Full MRP tests, and how Kladana does on each (2 of 6)
  1. YesIt represents a bill of materials, recipe, or formula.Evidence: support.kladana.com › Bills of Materials(opens in a new tab); kladana.com(opens in a new tab); support.kladana.com › Production Orders(opens in a new tab)
  2. PartialIt accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
  3. YesIt nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming.Evidence: support.kladana.com › Supply Stock Replenishment(opens in a new tab); support.kladana.com › Committed and Awaiting stock in the sale process(opens in a new tab); support.kladana.com › Manage awaiting stock(opens in a new tab); support.kladana.com › Production Orders(opens in a new tab)
  4. PartialIt explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.A production order lists the raw materials of its BOMs with planned quantities, and "If the On hand is less than the Qty Planned, click Supply" to buy, make or transfer the shortfall, including production orders for semi-finished items. Sales orders turn into production orders through Stock Replenishment, so explosion happens one production order at a time rather than in a planning run across all demand. support.kladana.com › Production Orders(opens in a new tab); support.kladana.com › Supply Stock Replenishment(opens in a new tab); support.kladana.com › Semi Finished Products Tracking(opens in a new tab)
  5. PartialIt uses lead times or required dates. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
  6. PartialIt produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.

These rules are applied identically to every product and enforced at build time, a record cannot be published as Full MRP unless all six pass with a source attached. Read the methodology.

Best for

  • Small manufacturers on a tight budget who want production orders, routings and labor costs in one web app
  • Workshops that want operators to report operations from a browser-based shop-floor app
  • Food, cosmetics and garment makers who need batches with expiry dates and FIFO costing

Not a fit when

  • Anyone who needs dated purchase suggestions driven by lead times; the help center documents neither
  • Makers who build serial-numbered products, since serial-tracked items cannot be used in production
  • Buyers who want accounting connected directly: QuickBooks, Xero and Zoho go through a paid third-party connector

Why the useful price is higher

The $5 headline is the Start plan, sold only annually ($60 a year), and it cannot take the Production module. Manufacturing needs Growth or above plus the Production Module add-on, priced at $43 a month: Growth at $24 billed monthly plus $43 comes to $67 a month. Paid yearly, the MRP page puts the plan with the manufacturing module at "$563/year", about $47 a month.

Counts incoming ordersIt knows about purchase orders and production orders already placed, so it does not tell you to order twice.YesOpen purchase orders count as incoming stock: "Awaiting stock level is the number of items that you've purchased but haven't received yet", and it is added into Available. A production order can also be allocated to awaiting stock, so unfinished output shows as "In transit".Reviewed October 9, 2026. Editorial notes and cautions

Things we would want a friend to know before buying.

  • The $5 and $60-a-year figures buy the Start plan, which has no manufacturing. Production is a $43-a-month add-on available from Growth up, so real entry is about $67 a month billed monthly.
  • Prices shown to a US visitor are in USD and exclude GST; the page also has an INR switch. The company is registered in Mumbai.
  • The QuickBooks Online, Xero and Zoho Books connections run through Albato, a separate no-code service with its own fees, and they push sales orders or invoices rather than inventory journals.
  • Products tracked by serial number cannot be components or finished products in production.

Alternatives to Kladana

An alternative is always an alternative for a reason. There is no universal replacement.

  • ERPAGBetter commerce & accounting connection

ERPAG connects to QuickBooks and Xero itself and includes manufacturing in its plans, rather than through a paid connector and a separate module.

  • MRPeasyStronger true MRP

MRPeasy documents a full requirements run with supplier lead times and order-by dates, where Kladana stops at supply suggestions per order.

Why this record is not Verified. New record from one research pass on 2026-10-09. Held at partially verified until an editor re-reads the cited pages.

Researched 2026-10-09 from kladana.com, the rendered pricing page (prices load by script, so the page was rendered in headless Chrome), and the Zendesk help center at support.kladana.com, read through its public article index. The help center answers 403 to curl but loads in a browser and in headless Chrome. Many help articles predate 2025; each cited one was read on the day.

What we still want to confirm

We publish our gaps rather than hiding them. If you can point us at a first-party page for any of these, we will update the record and credit the correction.

  • Find a lead time field on suppliers or products and whether it shifts any suggested date. Only the MRP marketing page mentions supplier lead times.
  • Confirm whether material batches consumed in a production order are linked to the finished batch.
  • Confirm the annual price of the Production Module; the pricing page prints only $43 a month.
  • Confirm whether a full account export exists beyond per-list Excel exports.
  • Confirm whether there is a general ledger. The pricing page lists payments, P&L and cash-flow reports, but no ledger or journals.

Still unknown: capacity planning, mcp support, full data export.
