MRPeasy
by MRPeasy
A cloud manufacturing system that does the full material-requirements calculation: it takes your orders, subtracts what you have and what is already on its way, applies supplier lead times, and tells you the last date you can place each purchase.
Why it is classified this way
We call this a Full MRP product. Verified to take dated demand, net it against stock and incoming orders, explode a bill of materials, apply lead times, and produce dated buy-or-make recommendations.
This product meets all six of our Full MRP tests, and each one is backed by a first-party page we link below.

- YesIt explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials.Evidence: mrpeasy.com › Requirements(opens in a new tab)The Requirements report is "a list of all the purchasable items that are required for specific orders (Source)", with demand coming from manufacturing and customer orders, and it gives an Action date by lead time. Materials needed by a manufacturing order become purchase requirements.

These rules are applied identically to every product and enforced at build time, a record cannot be published as Full MRP unless all six pass with a source attached. Read the methodology.
Best for
- Shops that have outgrown reorder alerts and need to know the last safe date to place an order
- Small discrete manufacturers running multi-level BOMs with routings and operations
- Anyone who wants the planning maths written down in a public manual rather than hidden behind a demo
Not a fit when
- Solo makers: per-user pricing is fine at one seat, but expiry dates, quality control and serial numbers need Professional at $69, and forecasting and the API sit higher still
- Teams that need an API without paying $149 per user per month for it
- Anyone wanting a free tier to trial indefinitely; there is a trial but no free plan

Pricing detail
Starter $49/user/month, Professional $69, Enterprise $99, Unlimited $149. From the eleventh user the rate drops to $79 per ten users. The Unlimited tier states a two-user minimum. Annual billing gives one month free. The trial is advertised as 15 + 15 days with no card required. Watch the tier gating: expiry-date management, quality control and serial numbers start at Professional ($69/user); master production scheduling and sales forecasting start at Enterprise ($99/user); API and webhooks are Unlimited only ($149/user). A two-person shop that wants expiry dates and an API is not paying $49. It is paying $298 a month.

Planning
Working out what to buy or make, and when.
| Capability | Finding | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| Accepts dated demandYou can tell it what is due and when, sales orders with dates, a forecast, or a production schedule. | Yes | The Requirements report lists purchasable items "required for specific orders (Source), when these are required (Requirement date)". Master production scheduling and sales forecasting are available from the Enterprise tier.Reviewed October 9, 2026. | Nets against stock on handIt subtracts what you already have before telling you to buy more. | Yes | The Critical on-hand report lists items "for which the available quantity is below their Reorder Point (ROP)". Available, not gross. The vendor describes knowing "what's available, what's booked, and what's expected to arrive".Reviewed October 9, 2026. | Counts incoming ordersIt knows about purchase orders and production orders already placed, so it does not tell you to order twice. | Yes | Expected arrivals are part of the stock picture, purchase orders carry an expected delivery date, and saving a purchase order books the incoming items against the demand that caused them.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Critical on hand(opens in a new tab); mrpeasy.com › Manufacturing software(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Uses lead timesIt works backwards from when you need something to when you must order or start it, using supplier and production lead times. | Yes | The Requirements report shows "when these should be ordered the latest (Action date) according to lead time". The clearest statement of lead-time offsetting we found on any product in this directory.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Requirements(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Produces dated buy/make suggestionsThe output is an actionable list with dates, order this much by this date, start this batch on this date. | Yes | Requirement date and Action date per line. From Critical on-hand you can create a pre-filled purchase order, or a manufacturing order whose quantity is calculated to bring stock back to the reorder point.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Production
Recipes, bills of materials, and running the work.
| Capability | Finding | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| Bill of materialsA list of the parts and quantities needed to make one of something. | Yes | Bills of materials are a documented core object, tied directly to routings.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Manufacturing software(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Multi-level BOMSub-assemblies inside assemblies, a part that is itself made from other parts, nested as deep as you need. | Yes | "Create simple or multi-level bills of materials (BOMs) and tie them directly to routings."Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Manufacturing software(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Recipes & formulasBatch-style production by weight, volume, or percentage, including scaling a batch up or down. | Partial | Recipes are ordinary BOMs. The user manual says that "for process manufacturing, like food, pharmaceutics, etc., it is the formula or recipe that lists the quantities of ingredients per unit of product", and that "When a manufacturing order is created, the BOM is multiplied by the order quantity to calculate the total material requirements." So a recipe scales in a straight line with batch size, and on Professional a fixed-quantity column adds components that do not scale. Missing: a separate recipe object and any percentage, weight or yield-based formula.Reviewed October 9, 2026. | Work / manufacturing ordersA record authorising and tracking the making of a specific quantity. | Yes | Manufacturing orders are the production record, with a documented manual section and a production schedule view.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › User manual(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Routings & operationsThe ordered steps a product goes through, and which machine or station does each one. | Yes | Routings are a documented object and BOMs tie directly to them.Reviewed October 9, 2026. | Shop-floor trackingOperators report progress, time, and completions as the work happens. | Yes | In a 2025 vendor demo: "Workers can use two different interfaces, the detailed my production plan and the simpler internet kiosk." On a tablet or phone, operators see their assigned operations, start, pause and finish them, and report quantities, materials used and serial numbers.Source: mrpeasy.com › User manual(opens in a new tab); Vendor video, 2025, at 0:38(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Quality controlsChecks, tests, holds, and non-conformance records tied to production or receiving. | Yes | Quality control is listed as a Professional-tier feature, so it is not in the $49 entry plan.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Pricing(opens in a new tab)Question this |
Inventory & traceability
Knowing what you hold and being able to trace it.
| Capability | Finding | What we found |

| Batch & lot traceabilityWhich incoming material lots went into which finished batch, and where those finished goods went. | Yes | "Track inventory by lot or batch, use serial numbers and barcodes." Lot traceability is listed on all tiers including Starter.Reviewed October 9, 2026. | Expiry & shelf lifeBest-before dates on materials and finished goods, with warnings before they lapse. | Yes | Expiry-date management is listed as a Professional-tier addition, not part of the entry plan.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Pricing(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Serial numbersUnique identifiers on individual units, for warranty or field service. | Yes | Serial numbers are listed as a Professional-tier addition.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Pricing(opens in a new tab)Question this |

| PurchasingRaising and tracking purchase orders to suppliers from inside the system. | Yes | Purchase orders are pre-filled with vendor, parts, quantities, prices and lead times, and grouped by vendor from the Critical on-hand report.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Critical on hand(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Accounting connectionSends financial data to bookkeeping software, or includes its own general ledger. | Yes | "Standard accounting" is listed on all tiers, and a 2026 vendor demo shows it keeping a chart of accounts and posting journal entries automatically. The same demo names two outside ledgers: "MRP easy can share data with these systems through native integrations, for example, with Zero or QuickBooks Online." (The captions spell Xero as "Zero".)Source: mrpeasy.com › Pricing(opens in a new tab); Vendor video, 2026, at 2:39(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Ecommerce connectionPulls orders and pushes stock levels to a storefront or marketplace. | Yes | The vendor states: "Synchronizing inventory levels from MRPeasy to Shopify Go to Settings -> System settings -> Integrations -> Shopify. Click the Edit button next to your shop. Select the option ' Sync inventory levels '." From the MRPeasy user manual's Shopify page, which also covers importing Shopify orders. Checked 2026-09-14. Older vendor demos walk through the Shopify integration (2020 video: "To connect MRPeasy and Shopify, go to MRPeasy -> Settings -> System settings -> Integrations -> Shopify.") and a WooCommerce integration (2021 video), importing paid web orders and pushing stock levels back.Reviewed September 14, 2026. Openness & your data
Getting data in, out, and away if you leave.
| Capability | Finding | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| APIA documented programming interface so other software can read and write your data. | Yes | API access is listed, but only on the Unlimited tier at $149/user/month. Budget for that before planning any integration work.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Pricing(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| WebhooksThe system can notify other software the moment something changes. | Yes | Webhooks are listed alongside the API on the Unlimited tier.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.com › Pricing(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| MCP supportA Model Context Protocol server, letting an AI assistant read or act on this data. Useful, but it has nothing to do with whether the product plans materials. | Yes | MRPeasy runs its own MCP server: "The server exposes every API v2 GET endpoint as a tool, giving the model read-only access to your manufacturing data." Read access meets our definition (read or act). Scope: read-only, it cannot create or change records, and it authenticates with an API key, which the pricing page puts on the Unlimited plan ($149/user/month, minimum two). Checked 2026-09-19.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: mrpeasy.readme.io › Mcp(opens in a new tab); mrpeasy.com › Pricing(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| CSV exportYou can get your lists out as spreadsheet files. | Yes | In a 2026 vendor demo of the data tables: "Finally, you can export your data in CSV or PDF format. If you apply filters before exporting, only the filtered data will be included". The pricing page's comparison table ticks "CSV import-export" on all four plans, so it is not limited to higher tiers.Source: mrpeasy.com › Pricing(opens in a new tab); Vendor video, 2026, at 4:12(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Full data exportYou can take everything, including history and relationships, not just a few screens' worth of rows. | Partial | There is a whole-database backup you can download, but it only works inside MRPeasy. The user manual: "You can download your database backup file to your computer and keep a copy," and "The MRPeasy database backup file can be used/read only in MRPeasy." A restore needs a file that is "not older than 30 days" and "downloaded from the same account it is restored to", and it erases the current database. So it protects you inside MRPeasy; it is not a portable export for leaving. List-level CSV export is recorded separately. The pricing table ticks "Database backups" on all four plans. Checked 2026-09-19.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Editorial notes and cautions
Things we would want a friend to know before buying.
- Its public user manual spells out an Action date calculated from lead time, and the planning engine is on the cheapest tier. That is why it carries the Full MRP label while several louder products do not. Katana documents the same kind of calculation, but on its planning add-on, and since 2026-10 its paid plan is quote-only (last published at $299 plus $199 for manufacturing).
- Per-user pricing compounds fast. Five users on Enterprise is $495 a month before anyone has touched the API.
- The tier ladder is the real pricing story: expiry dates at $69, forecasting and MPS at $99, API at $149. Check which tier your must-haves actually live on before comparing the $49 headline against anything.
Alternatives to MRPeasy
An alternative is always an alternative for a reason. There is no universal replacement.
Ten users on MRPeasy's Enterprise tier cost $990 a month. ERPNext's license costs nothing, so the bill becomes hosting plus the setup work you take on yourself.
Compared on Ardent Seller's page, where we wrote: "MRPeasy plans from dated sales orders and forecasts you enter, where Ardent Seller projects demand from last season's sales; MRPeasy costs more and is billed per user."
Compared on ERPAG's page, where we wrote: "ERPAG bundles five seats into $99 a month after a three-month $49 discount, where MRPeasy charges $49 per seat, but MRPeasy documents its planning calculation and ERPAG does not."
Compared on Evenbatch's page, where we wrote: "MRPeasy plans what to order and when from dated demand and lead times, which Evenbatch says it does not attempt; the trade-off is per-user pricing and a heavier setup."
Evidence and verification
All six Full MRP tests pass. The planning tests rest on the public user manual rather than marketing pages, and the Requirements report is the decisive evidence; the bill-of-materials tests are sourced from the vendor's manufacturing-software page.
