Statii
by Statii
A UK job-shop system priced per user with a much cheaper shop-floor seat, aimed at subcontract engineering firms that need scheduling and shop-floor clocking rather than a full ERP.
Why it is classified this way
We call this a Manufacturing ERP product. A broad business system (accounting, sales, purchasing) with a substantial manufacturing or planning module attached.
It is not labeled Full MRP because we have not verified that it nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming; explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials; uses lead times or required dates; and produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. That is a statement about the evidence we found, not a claim that the product is weak, see the capability table and the sources below.
The six Full MRP tests, and how Statii does on each (2 of 6)
- YesIt represents a bill of materials, recipe, or formula.Evidence: statii.co.uk › Bill of materials bom software(opens in a new tab)
- YesIt accepts dated demand, sales orders, a forecast, or a master production schedule.Evidence: statii.co.uk › Inventory(opens in a new tab)
- PartialIt nets that demand against stock on hand and orders already incoming. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
- UnknownIt explodes requirements through at least one level of the bill of materials. Not established. No evidence found yet.
- PartialIt uses lead times or required dates. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
- PartialIt produces dated buy, make, transfer, release, or reschedule recommendations. Not established. Only partly shown: the evidence covers some of this but not all of it, so the test is not established.
These rules are applied identically to every product and enforced at build time, a record cannot be published as Full MRP unless all six pass with a source attached. Read the methodology.
Best for
- UK subcontract engineering and machine shops
- Shops with many floor staff who only need to clock on and off, where the £8.50 seat cuts the bill sharply
- Owners who want out of long contracts. This is genuinely month to month
Not a fit when
- Batch and recipe producers
- Businesses outside the UK, given GBP pricing and a UK support model
- Anyone who needs published capability documentation before trialling

Why the useful price is higher
The £57.50 is the main-user seat. The pricing page's quote calculator adds a £110 a month system license to every quote, so one main user costs £167.50 a month before VAT. Each extra main user adds £57.50 and each shop-floor user £8.50.
Free trial: 14 days.

Pricing detail
A £110/month system license, plus main users at £57.50/month with access to the entire system and shop-floor users at £8.50/month, limited to clocking on and off jobs, withdrawing stock and accepting deliveries. The system license appears only in the pricing page's quote calculator, not on the price cards. Prices exclude VAT. The quote says set-up, implementation and training are included, and the contract rolls every 30 days after the initial month, cancellable on one month's notice. The seat split is still the most sensible pricing structure for a job shop in this directory: you are not paying full seat price for a machinist who only needs to clock on. A 14-day free trial of the complete system is offered, with no credit card required, but it is not self-serve: "To set up a Free 14 day trail of the complete Statii ERP and see how your Company will benefit, simply fill in the details below and a member of our team will be in touch."

Manufacturing capability
18 of 25 fields resolved. "Unknown" means we have not found first-party evidence. It is not a No.
Planning
Working out what to buy or make, and when.
| Capability | Finding | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| Accepts dated demandYou can tell it what is due and when, sales orders with dates, a forecast, or a production schedule. | Yes | Demand comes from jobs and quotes with dates attached: "Set future demand dates, track multi-job requirements, and configure alerts so you only buy what you need—when you need it." This is from the vendor's feature page; the calculation behind it is not described.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: statii.co.uk › Inventory(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Nets against stock on handIt subtracts what you already have before telling you to buy more. | Partial | Stock is shown beside what is on order and allocated: "Instantly know what's in stock, what's on order, and what's allocated to jobs." Shortage alerts compare demand with stock, but the feature pages do not describe how the shortage is calculated or any time-phased netting.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: statii.co.uk › Inventory(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Counts incoming ordersIt knows about purchase orders and production orders already placed, so it does not tell you to order twice. | Partial | Incoming purchase orders are shown next to demand: "See current stock, what's expected in, and future demand." The page does not say whether incoming stock is subtracted in the shortage figure.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: statii.co.uk › Purchase orders(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Uses lead timesIt works backwards from when you need something to when you must order or start it, using supplier and production lead times. | Partial | Supplier lead times are stored: "Statii lets you raise purchase orders straight from the Inventory screen, with supplier pack sizes, lead times, and unit conversions already built in." Nothing on the feature pages shows lead time shifting a suggested order date.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: statii.co.uk › Inventory(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Produces dated buy/make suggestionsThe output is an actionable list with dates, order this much by this date, start this batch on this date. | Partial | Purchase orders raised from a job inherit its dates: "Turn confirmed quotes and works orders into purchase orders instantly. Items, quantities, due dates, and suppliers carry through." That is the job's due date carried over, not an order-by date the system works out.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: statii.co.uk › Purchase orders(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Capacity planningChecks whether your people and machines can do the work in the time available. | Yes | The vendor states: "See machine and personnel availability in real time. Balance workloads across your team, spot bottlenecks early, and never double-book a work center again." From the vendor's scheduling page. Checked 2026-09-14.Reviewed October 9, 2026. | Multi-level BOMSub-assemblies inside assemblies, a part that is itself made from other parts, nested as deep as you need. | Yes | The vendor states: "Statii's flexible BOM functionality is built to accommodate everything from simple assemblies to sophisticated multi-level builds."Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: statii.co.uk › Bill of materials bom software(opens in a new tab)Question this |

| Work / manufacturing ordersA record authorising and tracking the making of a specific quantity. | Partial | Shop-floor users clock on and off jobs, which implies a job record. We have not verified the work-order model from a first-party feature page.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: statii.co.uk › Pricing(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Routings & operationsThe ordered steps a product goes through, and which machine or station does each one. | Yes | The vendor states: "Experience a product walkthrough to see how you can plan and manage production schedules using a visual drag-and-drop interface. Learn how to assign operations to resources, apply smart sequencing rules, and adjust workloads in real time." The same page describes operation dependencies and enforced sequence. Checked 2026-09-14.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: statii.co.uk › Scheduling(opens in a new tab)Question this |
| Shop-floor trackingOperators report progress, time, and completions as the work happens. | Yes | The dedicated shop-floor seat exists specifically for clocking on and off jobs, withdrawing stock and accepting deliveries.Reviewed October 9, 2026. | Expiry & shelf lifeBest-before dates on materials and finished goods, with warnings before they lapse. | Unknown | Not yet researched. We would need: documentation of expiry, best-before, or shelf-life date fields.Know the answer? |
| Serial numbersUnique identifiers on individual units, for warranty or field service. | Yes | Serial numbers are listed under traceability on the inventory page: "Batch and serial number traceability". This is a feature-page listing without further detail.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Source: statii.co.uk › Inventory(opens in a new tab)Question this |
Commerce & accounting
Costs, purchasing, storefronts, and the books.
| Capability | Finding | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| Product costing & COGSWhat it costs you to make one, and the cost of the goods you sold. | Yes | Stock is costed with labour and overheads ("Costed inventory including labour and overheads"), and actual purchase order costs post back to the job margin. Quotes are built from operation, machine and personnel rates. COGS reporting is not described.Reviewed October 9, 2026. Editorial notes and cautions
Things we would want a friend to know before buying.
- The two-tier seat model deserves attention beyond this product. If you have ten machinists and two office staff, a system charging one rate for everybody can cost several times more for the same work. Ask every vendor whether a limited shop-floor seat exists.
- Capability evidence here comes from the vendor's feature pages, which describe what exists but not how it calculates. Purchasing is driven by shortages, min/max levels and confirmed jobs; we found no time-phased netting or order-by dates, so treat it as short of Full MRP until a demo shows otherwise.
- Prices are in pounds. Convert before comparing against the dollar-priced products in this directory.
Alternatives to Statii
An alternative is always an alternative for a reason. There is no universal replacement.
- JobBOSS²Lower cost
Both target job shops; Statii publishes its prices and sells month to month, where JobBOSS2 publishes nothing and expects an ERP-scale commitment.
Evidence and verification
Pricing is precisely sourced and is the most decision-relevant fact here. Scheduling, quoting, stock, BOM, purchasing, quality, accounts integration and reporting are sourced from the vendor's feature pages. Inquiries become costed quotes built from operation, machine and personnel rates, and the quoting page says: "Statii MRP can monitor current inventory levels, anticipate future needs based on submitted quotes, and automatically generate purchase orders to replenish stocks based on set minimum stock levels." On material planning, the purchase-orders page says only: "Generate orders from shortages, min/max, and confirmed jobs." The 'MRP software' page is a general article and describes no calculation.
